Instrument Options and Important Info

  • Violin/Viola

    Sarah teaches violin and viola from beginner up to an intermediate level. All violin and viola students need the following supplies for lessons: instrument, bow, rosin, rosin cloth, shoulder rest, and either Suzuki or Essential Elements technique books.

  • Cello

    Sarah teaches cello from a beginner to an intermediate/early advanced level. All cello students need the following supplies for lessons: instrument, bow, rosin, rosin cloth, shoulder rest, and either Suzuki or Essential Elements technique books.

  • Double Bass

    Sarah teaches double bass from a beginner to advanced level. All double bass students need to have the following supplies for lessons: instrument, bow, rosin, linen cloth, and rock stop.

    Double bass students will also need these 2 books: New Method for Double Bass by Franz Simandl, 30 Etudes for the Double Bass by Franz Simandl

  • Bass Guitar

    Sarah teaches bass guitar from a beginner to an advanced level. All bass guitar students need to have the following supplies for lessons: instrument, quarter inch cable, cloth, shoulder strap, and amp.

    Bass guitar students will also need this book: The Complete Electric Bass Player by Chuck Raney Book 1: The Method

Lesson Location Information

Students seeking lessons for violin, viola, cello, or bass guitar will take lessons at Sarah’s house. The house address will be shared via email when setting up initial lessons.

If you are seeking double bass lessons, Sarah will travel to you in order to reduce risk of you damaging your bass in transportation.
